Kid Rock always rocks!
What a vulgar but hilariously surprising discovery Wheeler Walker is! After a few songs, he becomes old, but he's still entertaining on stage. Brantley Gilbert was fantastic, even better than BoyNextDoor this time. Live, he sounded great, as always. BoyNextDoor, well, he was just himself. Always fun to see, with the added entertainment of flashing old pictures on the screen behind him. I've realized that I'm not the hardcore fan I thought I was, especially since this is my 3rd time seeing him. While I'm not a fan of the real rappy stuff, he always sounds great. Some of the songs started sounding the same after a while. I prefer the albums Born Free and First Kiss over the harder stuff. As for FivePoints Arena, OMG! All venues should be like this. It's a shame it's temporary. Hopefully, the new one they are building will follow this idea. When you walk in, it's a big circle with grass in the middle where people were playing corn hole and horseshoes with toilet seats. Surrounding the circle were food stands, catering trucks, and vendors selling merchandise. The seating and staging were top-notch, with no bad seats in the house. It was a great night overall.
